A sea of boxes...

 Didn't think I would get time to sit down and post something, but thankfully have had a bit of time between packing and falling a sleep to check out some of my favourite blogs and sites.  Its nice when you can sit down by the end of a long day and feast your eyes on great art and read what others have been up to...  Not to mention get a ton of inspiration to work on my own art.  But {and its a big but}, this is what my studio looks like right now.

Boxes all over the place, boxes as far as the eye can see, boxes this way and that way {you can call it a sea of boxes} and they are all over the place and they drive my CraZy!!!!  However, we are now finally on to the count down to when we get the keys to our new house, only 7 days left.

And here is one of the very many stacks of canvases standing and waiting to be transported over.
Below is the sketch I mentioned in my last post, its one of only two sketches I was able to get done in the old town in Montreal, Quebec. 

And here is two other small sketches I made when ever I found some time to do anything artsy, and I have packed away most of my supplies.  I kept out 3 different books {2 Moleskine books, water colour one and the other a sketch book} and other is a new book I got that's good for ink and pastels. 

Dream boat

 These are again of my little sketch collection that I started to work on earlier, its about my I guess and when I was little and always on the run.  The paper boat makes me think about my dear old great uncle Arvo, he showed me all kinds of neat crafts, origami, rope knotting and wood carving when I was younger.  My favourite was the boats and the cranes.

I will sit with you

 When I was younger, it always broke my heart when I found a dead animal {still does}and I used to think that they were just a sleep and they just needed someone to wish them back to life.

And the last sketch {doodle} is from yet another time of me sitting on hold, waiting for a person on the other end of the phone to answer...  I think I have now heard pretty much all kinds of "on hold" music tunes, and by far this one time I heard one tune and no word of a lie a whole five times.  And not only was it a long and very painful song...  It was so dark and depressing, and I'm sure this is all intentional and the company hopes that the person who calls will hang up, give up and keep the companies service against their will.  But not me, no Sir!!!!  I held on and back or my paper I sketched away until I almost ran out of ink and they finally answered. 

Any how, 7 days left and then I can then finally get my supplies to my new studio space, and start to unpacking and dream about how I can make that place my own space...  And best of all, I can start making a wonderful amazing mess again with paint, so cant wait.
So I don't think I will be posting until the dust settles down and I can say the move is over and done with.  I hope all of you have a wonderful summer and you are blessed with ton of inspiration and time to create : )
