I know, you might have read this before "I'm super busy" {I feel like I'm Polly the parrot, I keep saying it over and over again}... But I am and its just never ending, lots of packing and getting things ready for the move (only two and half weeks away).
And there is so much stuff going on here, there has not been much time to anything but to get ready and care for our daughter {she's still having the head aches and we have ongoing Dr's appointments}.
And for my art, I have not been doing much at all, just a very few sketches and I will post them soon. But for now, I just wanted to show you a picture {or pictures within pictures} from a day trip I was able to go too. Its been months since I have been able to get away like this, or more like over a year ago.
And thankfully that very morning of the trip, our daughter was feeling good enough to go to school, our son was off to be here for just in case and Mr B was in town so he would be on stand by... I made it to the tour, and how lovely it was to have one day to be able to get away and see something totally new and meet up with other artists and just have fun. First we went to see the permanent exhibition of European art from the 12 century to Picasso at the Musee des Beaux-arts de Montreal, then we saw an exhibition of modern pop art. After this we went down to the Old town of Montreal, we walked along different small streets packed with artists and their work, little shops and very old and neat buildings... And we ended the tour with sitting outside on a patio sketching and sipping sangrias. It was fantastic!!!!
I will post the sketches I made there and one other here after the trip {this was my late night sketch as I couldn't sleep}... But for now, packing and more packing!!!
Until next time, I hope you are able to enjoy this crazy hot weather {here we have heat advisory with +36c and with the humidity it feels like +46c}.
