Mad rush to see Rush

What a night, we went to the Rush concert and it was just amazing, I just have to share with you... And I have to post this for Lesley Purcell (of Wild Things blog, if you haven't seen her paintings, you should check it out, beautiful work) she is a huge Rush fan... Lesley, I thought of you at the concert, they played all the songs from the Moving Pictures album (and songs from Snake & Arrows and two new songs from their upcoming album).

But I have to tell you, before we got to the concert place... Mr B almost had a heart attack while trying to beat the traffic and good old Ottawa road work signs (its summer and every street in town is under some kind of construction).
Its was what he calls a "S**t show", I truly believe the City road workers cant read or understand maps, roads or their own signs. It was a miracle that we got there on time. But we made it, and we had a great time, Rush is a amazing band, and they know how to put up a great show.

What a night, standing for over 4 hours (dancing, jumping, trying to see the stage and protecting my feet from other happy stompers). Now my body aches and I have a head ache... So now I'm going to take it easy, mend my crushed toes and I think I'll take a nap : )
I'm in no rush to do anything today!!!
