First, I finished my painting (its 4.5' x 3.5') that I have been working on of and on, for a long time. It has been beginning to many different paintings, a canvas that did not like me too much and nothing ever worked out. Until now, and I love it! Its a abstract piece and it will be hung in the living room when its all done (yes, still a few details like the canvas frame that broke, fix that and put on hocks and its done, done, done... Oh, pinch me is this true???)
I did this together with my daughter and we had fun putting them together, not sure if we will keep it as is or do something for the top half.
I took some of my fabric ends out and made a cloth pin, it was fun to work on the sewing machine... These pins usually start with no plan whats so ever, turned out pretty good.
On Friday, we finally got some rain (well more than just rain, we had rain warnings and it sure came down hard... I didn't have my camera out at the right time, but this is the slow rain after the storm)... But the rain felt so good and I finally got some much needed work started (the art project I'm working on for a client).
And we're back to the mega heat again, +30c (+38.8c against my back wall). We finally got the back deck done and its so nice, so today Mr B and I thought we would have breakfast out side. Sure was nice, except that you feel like you have to eat super fast before you and everything around you melts.Below is my camera shy man Mr B, he is so enjoying the deck being done and he can take it easy while I try to paint...
Tonight, Mr B and I are going to a Rush concert... Cant wait, its an a amazing band. Looks like it will be good weather for it, thank heavens for that as it will be out doors. I hope all of you had a great weekend so far, stay cool my friends and keep creating.
