Been away a bit, been around but busy and now finally have a few days off and my mother-in-law Marguerite is visiting with us, and today she and I went down town to see all the tulips (and everything else that's in bloom). And we had a really great time, first we went to see all the tulips and we took so many pictures (all 80 + and it was hard to chose which once to put on here, I love them all)And I did a little bit of sketching and painting while we walked between all the flower beds. The weather was perfect, and mum was so happy to see all the flowers.

After our exhausting adventure of studying each tulip in full detail, snap pictures, view them from every angle possible and chat with other tulip fans. We went down to the market place for lunch, and after eating good healthy salads, we just had to end the day with something much healthier...Cake!
