We're taking it easy this Easter, the weather is above normal and its like summer (+28c) yesterday... I have never felt a hot day like this in April (ever), its nice and strange all at once. But we took out our patio chairs and sat out side and enjoyed it. I haven't done any painting or drawing, and it kind of feels good to have a break. However, my daughter and I made some Easter crafts, music paper covered eggs. They are nesting in a basket in the hallway greeting everyone who comes in. And the large egg, is a paper egg we got from my dad a few years back, but with the years it worn down and in stead of throwing it out (I dont have the heart to do that) we covered it in gesso and then in different papers and an image transfer and then we glazed the whole egg. After that we attached on different ribbon and lace to one of the edges of the egg (its hollow, now full of treats... I wonder when the kids will figure that out : )
I hope all of you're having a wonderful, peaceful and relaxing Easter.
Cheers,
Mari
