Today its really cold, -26c in the wind and everything has frozen solid from the ice storm we had a few days ago. Today I have stayed in, sewing and drawing (good day for that). The mail came and between bills, I got a really sweet mini parcel from my dear friend Sandra. In the box was a small book, candle and tea and a note saying "a little bit of art, atmosphere & calm to share, just because..." Oh, that just made my day and hit the spot on this very chilly day. She made a candle from an old spice jar (so cute)and put tea bags in to an older pharmacy container, so clever and I just love it how she reused things to make something new.
I'm now going to have tea while reading my book and enjoying the candle, thank you Sandra.
