Colours & Tea...

 Its the last long weekend before the kids go back to school, and its the last days of summer holidays {at least for the kids, I will still take a few for my self...}.  As you know from my past posts, I have a few or I should say a rather long list of favourite colours.  But the first few on my list are however my most liked and favourite colours " Yellows, Greens, Oranges and Teals"
So I been taking a few pictures of flowers in my favourite colours, and even my poor dying sunflowers gave me beautiful colours to the very end...

Sketching while tea is cooling
 While looking at the colours made me think about ice tea, and one of my very favourite things to make is home made lemon ice tea.  I dont know what it is, but it relaxes me to watch the colours flow out the tea bags, the sweet scents and the feel of fresh lemons...
Finding the perfect tea for this is also something I enjoy a lot and I like to try new different kinds of tea and something that is not from our typical local grocery store {their selection is not as exciting}...   I have three kinds of teas that I totally recommend for you to try, and this is soooo easy to make.

~ Pomegranate Vanilla red tea, by Sip for the Cure {the Republic of Tea}
~ Blueberry & Apple tea, by Twinings
~ Very Berry {Organic herb infusion tea}, by Higher Living

I use two tea bags to make tea to fill two bottles, boil water, steep the tea and add sweetener {I use Blue Agave by Sohgave} and I add juice and pulp from two lemons {if you dont like it too sour, use only one lemon}.
Really good when chilled, sipped and enjoyed during hot summer days.  Enjoy!!!!!

Have a wonderful Long weeked!!!!
