Oh, baby its Cold outside...

We have been having wonderful winter weather since the 23rd of December, and we have had nice cold snaps of and on. A few days ago it was -30c in the wind, nostrils froze together when you breath in through your nose. In short, not a good day to stick your tongue on anything metal!!!
But today, we went for a nice walk in the forest again and we all enjoyed it until we couldn't feel our toes. Now home, while the kids enjoy big mugs full of hot chocolate, I'm sitting here enjoying one of my favourite teas Alpine Punch from David's Tea and reading my new books and magazines I got for Christmas.

"Taking Great Photos" this book is good, I'm kind of new to digital photography (used film a lot longer than digital), and I need to learn a lot, and just find new ways to take pictures of my work (the possibilities are never ending). It shows you how to take great pictures of your work (be it art or crafts) and you don't have to fork out loads of money for fancy gear to do so. Instead it shows you how to do it with only pennies to your pocket, and it tells you the basic things about digital photography and cameras. And as a bonus it has a lot of great pictures, good for inspiration.

Here is two small sketches I did last night while Mr B was watching the hockey game, its just different views from the left corner of our couch (I was far to comfortable to move around, turning my head was enough : )
