Then came the fun part of getting the thing in to the car, and I did it after a few hours of scratching my head, calculating in my options and swearing at the fact that my kit was in my car {all my ropes, cords and blankets... anything that you can use to keep junk safe in the truck or the roof}... I finally got it in and all without any scratches to the car. Drove very slow to the hard ware store, and boy was I ever pissing other drivers of. Got new rope and tied the thing down well, and we drove home {still slow and yes, still pissing other drivers of I'm sure}.
And here it is, the old antique file cabinet. TaaDaa!!!
It will need some work, and I'm sure I will have to talk Mr B in to help me carry it down stairs {I know he will shake his head, after all what did we do all this past long weekend... yep, get a ton of junk out}...
Don't mind my garage, its full of junk that's going {including that huge cabinet behind the file cabinet... And that was a heavy beast to get up the stairs}. But here it is! 4 drawers, and it will need some fixing and cleaning, but its beautiful. I saw one before in a antique store, and I think it was going for about $ 400. But I wonder how much it would be worth, any thoughts?
Oh! And my mechanic just called, my car will need a lot of work {I knew it needed some} and it will cost me more than a pretty little penny... But, I got this smashing cabinet for nothing {only the cost of the new rope $ 5.00}.
