Its Monday, so much to do and so much done...

Cant believe my baby (Alex) just left for the summer, he'll be away all summer working as an LIT (Leader In Training) at a summer camp he attended last year. Sure he has been away before, but never this long... So I felt very emotional yesterday, and today, well it was strange not having to pull him out of bed by his toes, lol. We got a few pictures before he left, and wow, they are so tall... I guess they are not babies any more, I fell so short!!!!!

Lindsay (and as always, having her purse at hand, I bet you its full of Little people), me (the shorty) and Alex... They are such a good eggs.

So today as the day started with rain, Lindsay and I went down to my studio. I had to work, and got my new proposal done for a client that wants a mural painted for her condo. After that I made some mail art, had fun sewing it together. After the sewing I glued on sewing pattern paper and then drew a quick thing of a girl in jeans, after wards I put on two coats of varnish to protect it.

Lindsay was drawing away (and she typed a few novels again on her type machine), she is really great with details, I just love her art.

After I was done with my mail art, I set a few coats on some pictures that I will use for image transfer for two paintings that I'm going to do. And while they dried, I started to work on a large canvas that I have had in my studio for a while back now. I started a painting on it, but it sucked so I painted over it (its the base for something new)

As most of you know, I love numbers and old pages from books and ledgers. So this is something I have thought about for a while now to do, and its about thoughts and ideas, things that we humans cook up in our heads and then put on paper, to music, to build and invent.

This is one small part of the whole painting, will let that dry and see if I still like a few days later.
and here is my work table, all messy all over again (cleaned it up just a bit before the "where bloggers create II). I rather have it messy than cleaned up, because then I know I'm working on something lol.
