I cant believe how fast the time has gone by, I finally got better (no fever and my energy is back).
I wish to thank all of you for all your lovely comments, thank you so much.
It took me a while, and I was still sick the first few days of March break. But after that, got better each day and the weather was so nice, so we spent most of our time outdoors... And I finally got of the couch, okay there is a permanent dent on it from me laying on it for days, but I'm up!
Always after I have been sick, I get this huge urge to clean and make things. And as you know from my last post, I love lemons and I might have gone Lemon crazy : ) I just cant get enough of that lovely scent of citrus. Found a few items that have helped me with my lemon/citrus addiction, a wonderful lemon sugar body scrub (Body Shop), my favourite organic soap from Hugo (citrus of course) and yellow tulips... And now I'm working on a painting, that has a lot of yellows and spring greens in it. I also made a new arrangement in my glass bell, butterflies and real silk cocoons, things that reminds me of spring and new beginnings. And my daughter and I made a few Easter eggs, old music paper collage eggs.
Other than that, I have been busy with work (had a ton to catch up too) and I have found some time to sketch a bit (not really one a day, but almost). One is again a EDM challenge, draw on the bus? But did that, as we sat stuck in traffic so the bus was still... but most of it was finished at home. Funny part of the people I drew, is the older lady who looked like she was ridding against the wind with her wild hair. The girl next to her was not too pleased with her sitting so close to her, I don't blame her, she was practically sitting on her lap.
But like I said, I had so much to catch up too, or at times it feels like time is trying to catch up to me... This is how I felt two days ago, everything was just coming at me and needing all my attention all at once.
But! I have to say that I think I rather feel like this, than as a couch potato...
Happy Spring to all of you, I hope that all is well with each every one of you.
