weekend projects

This weekend went by far too fast again, I had only a few projects that I wanted to get done and the rest was to be spent mending my cold, relax and take it easy. My biggest project was to get a few things organized in my studio, well, its a studio that is not done yet (I'm still waiting for the walls)... so I have to move from room to room through out the house, depending what projects I'm working on and what light I want and need. But its not always practical as we like to use the table to eat of and its a pain in the bottom to move stuff around, so I came up with a "portable mini studio" by using my old butlers tray (tray with legs). And now I can move it around without stuff falling all over the place or me having to run up and down the stairs fifty times. Everything has now its place (for now) I wonder if the studio will get done some time this year, oh I hope... Me Need Walls!!

And I know, this might sound silly... But I get excited (just like a kid in a candy store or man looking at a shinny car) when I find something new for my art kit. I found this mechanical pencil by Papermate (I like having mechanical pencils when I'm on the road, and I have never had very good luck with small sharpeners). But this one has soft led, 0.7 mm (it doesn't break easy)it comes with a refill case and the best part is that its all biodegradable, so when the pencil has come to the end of its service time, I don't have to feel guilty throwing it out.
