In a lot of my art I try to use green materials, old used and found object.
And with the years I have collected a ton of pictures, cards and things from past holidays, and it has become to the point that I have to clean up and sort through it all or my studio will shrink in size very fast (I'm not too hot on that idea).
I have started to work on a mixed media book project,I have never done a whole book before, so why not try it and see what comes out of it. I picked a title for it in Swedish "Jul i Vart Hus" in English "Christmas in Our House".
The book is new, but made from all recycled materials. I just started to work on it and so far I have almost finished the front cover. I used, gesso, acrylic paint, ink, an old Christmas card my parents sent us years ago, text from an old magazine, paper and ribbon that was used for gift wrapping.
