I'm tired, but I cant sleep yet, I made my self tea and started to look in one of my favorite antique books. The title is Lily of the Valley I bought it at a outdoor market in down town Kingston and it was the cover of the book that caught my eye, and I got it for $ 5.00.
And after I had bought it, I looked through some of the pages, I found small pieces of old Victorian silk ribbons, dried flowers, clippings out of news papers and a beautiful blue silk ribbon from a exhibition, dated 1869. There is no date in the book it self, but I think its from that time period and it belonged to a lady who's name had been written carefully in one of the first pages (cant make it out any more). It has a number of plates printed with in it, and they are so beautiful. But what I find is more beautiful with this book, it is how this woman had saved all the small bits and pieces of her life in to the book.
